In order to process your order we require your name, e-mail address, credit / debit card number and card expiry date. We will not be able to process your request or notify you of acceptance of your order without all of this information. A contact telephone number is helpful in case there is a problem with your payment details or your order. We will not use this telephone number for any other purpose than the processing of your order. You are responsible for providing a correct delivery address including postcode, Abode Living can not accept responsibility for any item misdelivered due to incorrect details being given.

In order to allow a smooth delivery process we may, unless you advise us otherwise, pass this information to our couriers or agents in case they need to contact you.

Your order is accepted by us and completion of the contract between you and Abode Living Ltd occurs when payment has been taken and when we despatch the products ordered by you, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it before it is despatched.

Cancellation will only take place if we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment or under the following circumstances:

  1. The product you have ordered is unavailable from stock for the foreseeable future
  2. we have identified a discrepancy in pricing or product description
  3. you do not meet the criteria for ordering - for example your delivery address is outside the accepted delivery area for the product ordered.

We will contact you directly by email or phone if there are any problems with your order.

Abode Living Ltd reserves the right to remove product from the website at any time and/or amend the product description at any time. We will not be liable to you or any third party for doing this.

We reserve the right to reject any offer of purchase by you at any time. To be eligible to order on this website you must be over 18 and register your real name. You must be able to provide an acceptable address and you must also possess a valid credit/debit card provided by a bank acceptable to us.

We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure but, in the absence of negligence on our part, we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Website.

Contract Cancellation

You are entitled to cancel this contract provided you exercise your right no longer than 14 (fourteen) working days after the day on which you receive the products. If you wish to exercise your right to cancel this contract prior to order despatch, please contact us immediately on 01273 621116.

Description of Products

Abode takes all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. Although we aim to keep the Website as up to date as possible, the information, appearing on this Website at a particular time may not always reflect the position at the exact moment you place an order.


All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current UK rate and are correct at the time of entering the information onto the system. The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered plus delivery. By entering your credit card details you confirm that the credit or debit card that is being used is yours or that you are authorised to use it. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

How we collect your data

We collect your personal data when:

    you register for an account with your email address and a pasword

    you sign up to our Newsletter

    you enquire about a specific product via the product page

    you complete an online order and opt in to receive our newsletter/email marketing during checkout

    you contact us via other means of your choosing and ask to be kept up to date on general or specific information

    What personal data we collect and how it may be used

    Registration – We collect your email address, name, address and postcode. We also request a phone number. This information is used for the purposes of processing both current and future orders and you can login in to change this at any time. We will use your email address for marketing purposes if you express that you are happy for us to do this by clicking the email/newsletter sign up box.*

    Newsletter sign up - We collect your email address and name so that we can contact you from time to time with information regarding new products and promotions

    Product enquiry – we ask for your email address for the sole purpose of advising when the product is back in stock as requested. Your email is deleted as soon as we have sent this information to you.

    Online order – if you check out as a guest we will ask for the information required to process your order and ensure a safe delivery. We will use your email for marketing purposes if you express that you wish to receive our newsletter/email marketing*

    You contact us by other means – we will only ever hold you details in the capacity required in order to service your enquiry.

    In the case of placing an order we may pass your email address or contact number to our delivery partner to help ensure a smooth delivery process.

    How we intend to manage your data and how long it will be held.

    Abode Living Ltd is a small business and will only ever use your data for the purposes of marketing our products and services to you in line with your permission. We do not bombard you with emails and can assure you that we will never sell or pass on your data to a third party.

    Our software partners in relation to marketing and web management are Intelligent Retail and mailchimp. Both organisations are fully compliant with the current EU data laws and offer us the secure environment required.

    Your payment information is managed in a seecure environment via our payment portal Sage Pay and we do not hold any details regarding your payment card details.

    We will hold your data until you choose to opt out either by contacting us or by following the unsubscribe button on our marketing email. If you have ordered from us we will hold your data for the regulatory period for taxation and accounts purposes. We may also chose to remove you from our database if you do not respond after a number of mailings over a period of time. In each instant we will hold your email address on a suppression list to ensure we do not contact you against your wishes.

    You have the right to see the information we hold on you either by request using any of the means on our contacts page or via your registered account login on our website.

    We take our role in holding your data seriously and follow the legal guidelines and compliance regulations required to take all reasonable steps to protect your personal details when ordering from our site. However, due to the nature of the internet we cannot guarantee the security of any information you disclose on-line. You accept the security risks of providing information and purchasing on-line over the Internet and will not hold us responsible for any breach of security unless this is due to our own negligence.
